Israel stands with you, you’ll be ‘free sooner than people think’
In direct message to the people of the Islamic Republic, Netanyahu expresses hopes for peace and prosperity for both countries
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a rare direct message to the Iranian people on Monday, saying Israel “stands with you,” as it aggressively fights the Islamic Republic’s proxies across the region in response to their attacks on the Jewish state.
“Every day, you see a regime that subjugates you make fiery speeches about defending Lebanon, defending Gaza. Yet every day, that regime plunges our region deeper into darkness and deeper into war,” the premier said in an English-language video statement, which was also disseminated with Persian subtitles.
Saying Iran’s “puppets” were being eliminated, Netanyahu added there was “nowhere in the Middle East Israel cannot reach. There is nowhere we will not go to protect our people.
“With every passing moment, the regime is bringing you — the noble Persian people — closer to the abyss,” he said. “The vast majority of Iranians know their regime doesn’t care a whit about them. If it did care, if it cared about you, it would stop wasting billions of dollars on futile wars across the Middle East. It would start improving your lives.
“Imagine if all the vast money the regime wasted on nuclear weapons and foreign wars were invested in your children’s education, in improving your health care, in building your nation’s infrastructure, water, sewage, all the other things that you need. Imagine that.”
“When Iran is finally free — and that moment will come a lot sooner than people think – everything will be different,” he asserted. “Our two ancient peoples, the Jewish people and the Persian people, will finally be at peace. Our two countries, Israel and Iran, will be at peace.

What are countries doing to get nationals out of Lebanon?
Proper answer should be ‘good luck’. They were warned months ago to get out while the getting was good. They had more than enough time to think about it. They made a conscious decision to stay. Canada should not feel repeatedly responsible for an entire class of people hell bent and determined to make dangerously foolish life choices. Rescuing 15,000 Lebanese-Canadians from themselves in 2006 and the $94M taxpayer cost was giving the benefit of the doubt. Rescuing now a whopping 45,000 Lebanese-Canadians from themselves all over again in 2024 is called being a sucker.
Compare. The 45,000 Lebanese-Canadians who were until recently happily living in a place of their choice to the estimated approximately 40,000 homeless in Canada living miserably with no choice. Canada is broke. Surviving on borrowed money to the tune of about $110M PER DAY. Canada cannot afford both. Charity begins at home.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The United States has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel, a senior White House official said on Tuesday.
The United States is actively supporting preparations to defend Israel against this, the official said. “A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran,” the official said.
Severe consequences? The time for talk is long past. Actions speak louder than words. As if this wasn’t enough there are (according to U.S. Intelligence) Iranian hit team(s) inside of America right now targeting a Presidential candidate. When will enough ever be enough? They are not nearly as anxious too meet their 72 virgins as they make out. Not at all actually. These evil SOBs need to be taught a lesson, today. One that they will never forget. Iranian military bases, oil fields today. No military left capable of waging war. No oil fields left to generate $$$$ to fund war or terrorism. Then personally go after their leaders like we mean it. Not cheap threats, action. Precision guided munitions. Right down the ‘ol chimneys’. But don’t stop there. Massive ‘bunker busting’ (the U.S. has them) bombs to obliterate Iranian underground nuclear facilities. Cut the head right off this snake. Enough is enough. Or will it actually ever be? We’re all going to find out in very short order.
It’s quite clear to me here that Iran has just jumped the shark. This will not end well for the religious morons running that country because Bibi is nobody to screw around with. He isn’t intimidated and repercussions will follow swiftly.

If that wasn’t clear enough from Netanyahu there was a fascinating interchange between the Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana on X.
“With God’s help, the blows of the uprising front will become stronger and more painful on the worn and rotting body of the Zionist regime,” the Ayatollah said, with typical nasty fervor.
But he got a message from Ohana that was brief and to the point.
“Say hello to the end,” Ohana declared, responding to him in Persian.

Iran has launched hundreds of ballistic missiles into Israel Tuesday. Hezbollah has also launched rockets from southern Lebanon. Missile defense systems, including David’s Sling, Arrow Defense System and Iron Dome are currently working to shoot down the incoming. There has been a potential direct hit in Tel Aviv. Israeli citizens across the country, including in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, are in bomb shelters.
100% that Iran would not be willing to, let alone capable of financing world wide terror including this were Trump still POTUS.
