New Canadians have no time for illegal immigration according to a new comprehensive study conducted by Ipsos-Reid for the federal government.
The annual report, commissioned by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and uncovered by the investigative news outlet Blacklock’s Reporter, showed the clear frustration newcomers have watching others break Canada’s immigration laws.
“Newcomers to Canada resent illegal immigrants for jumping what they view as an immigration queue,” states the Blacklock’s report. “There was an underlying sense of unfairness.”
These findings were based on surveys of more than 4,000 newcomers across Canada, as well as 14 different focus groups in Toronto, Mississauga, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Moncton that included Chinese, Filipino, Middle Eastern, Caribbean and African immigrants.
“Apparently, there’s a loophole in the system where they can cross and just put in their papers,” one focus group participant told the researchers. “It angered me. Everybody is just coming in,” said another.
“Your English has to be good, you do all these tests, your health has to be good, then you land in Canada and find people here who don’t speak English and you wonder, are there double standards?”

And the majority Canadians happen to agree with them. Why? Because we agree that Canada must remain first and foremost a safe and secure country. Progressivism and globalism is the political flavour of the day. Dare a concerned citizen raise a voice either to question or criticize they are viciously attacked and labelled as anti-immigrant, racist, bigot! Even for being “un-Canadian” as our first generation refugee Somali Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship publicly did. The pompous ass dared to accuse Canadians opposed to his refugee policies of being “un-Canadian”. I for one do not need let alone appreciate any first generation former refugee lecturing me on what it takes to be a be a ‘real’ Canadian.
Any Canadian who wants to for example pay for his own health care is, despite the multiple benefits of doing so, promptly belittled and attacked for wanting to ‘jump the cue’. But not a certain category of foreigners who pay big bucks to get here. The majority of whom destroy all personal identification before arriving. Who endure no prior ‘approval’ by our country. Who bypass all of those who have been waiting patiently (for many months or years) for approval as they comply with all of rules designed to protect this nation in multiple ways. But that isn’t jumping the cue?
Canada resettled more refugees than any other country in 2018 as our globalist UN masters gleefully report. Our politicians become quite angry when Canadians question the wisdom of doing so. In response they thunder that “immigrants built this country”, and throw around the usual well worn labels with abandon. The fact of the matter is that to the average Canadian on the street there is a significant difference between immigrants and refugees and they are correct. ‘Genuine immigrants’ also know the difference. It’s impossible to miss. That’s exactly why the politicians (all of them) are cleverly and deceitfully trying to change that script by omitting the descriptor refugee from their lexicon and substituting it with immigrant. Ah, but the real immigrant community know the difference and will never drink that Kool-aide and neither should Canadians. If the polls are to be believed they are not. Fact. Immigrants don’t jump any cue. Refugees who show up uninvited do. And our progressive globalist ‘we are the world’ politicians know it and don’t care. Like all progressive leftists the end justifies the means.
No wonder legitimate immigrants are upset. The dictionary definition be damned, our wonderful nation building immigrants are being intentionally ‘mischaracterized’ for purely political reasons. And they don’t like it one bit. Nor should they. They know that if you bring there here, then here will become there. Our broken, dysfunctional and criminally, yes criminally abused refugee system is not a joke to Canadians. But know this, it certainly is to the UN and all others who flock here to take advantage of it and they are legion.
It is an undeniable fact that generations of immigrants did help to build this country. It is an undeniable fact that refugees didn’t. Legal immigrants see this out of control invasion of cue jumpers strolling at will across our border for what it is. A threat. That’s why they care. That’s why we should all care. The polls clearly show that the majority of Canadians care. A lot. It’s the politicians that don’t care.
O/T. Anybody remember the 30,000 Canadians of convenience that were living full time in Lebanon in 2006 and that demanded taxpayers evacuate and bring ‘home’ after hostilities broke out? We pulled out all of the stops and got’er done and damn the expense. Well brace yourselves. Guess how many Canadians of convenience are reported to be currently living in Hong Kong? 300,000!
