Premiers look for unity while Trudeau surfs

Ford has been playing a role akin to Captain Canada over the past couple of weeks repeatedly saying that the country has never been more divided and that Ontario has to step up to help unite the country.

Canada’s premiers are looking to meet before the end of the year to deal with national unity issues and that meeting could be held in Toronto, seen by some as neutral grounds.

It’s interesting that the premiers are looking to deal with this pressing question while our PM is in Tofino for a vacation and some surfing.

The idea for holding an emergency meeting of the Council of the Federation sprang from a meeting and a phone call I first reported on a week ago. Ontario Premier Doug Ford was having a bit of a Timmies summit with New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs when they called Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe on the phone.

From there, the conversation drifted to calling a meeting of all the premiers.

“I offered to host it in Toronto,” Ford told reporters on Monday.

That offer led to a conference call of the premiers on Friday. While the premiers of Manitoba, Nova Scotia and PEI couldn’t make the call, all the provinces were represented and the consensus was that a meeting before Christmas would be the best.

Toronto is not only the easiest site to access due to the availability of flights and the abundance of meeting space — the site is being proposed as a neutral spot for all sides to meet as they discuss contentious issues.

Justin, where are you? Alberta burns hot

The part time drama teacher’s most powerful outside influences are Barack Obama and the ‘Connoisseur of Chaos’, George Soros. Obama’s (Soros’)goal as POTUS was to inflame relatively stable race relations. To re-distribute the nation’s wealth.

Trudeau’s (Soros’) goal as PM is to inflame relatively east/west relations. To re-distribute the nation’s wealth. Both have succeeded perhaps beyond their wildest imaginations. The shepherds (Obama/Trudeau) are directing the sheep dogs (media) who are obediently driving the populace (sheep). Both countries are fracturing internally. It is purely diabolical.
