When Encana Corp. announced it would move its headquarters from Calgary to the United States, fingers quickly pointed in the direction of Ottawa as the cause of the departure.
Gwyn Morgan, founder and former chief executive of the Alberta oil and gas company, said the move “deeply saddens” him, and placed the blame squarely on the policies of the Liberal government.
“The destructive policies of the Trudeau Liberals have left the company with no choice but to shift its asset base and capital program south of the border. Now, its re-election strikes the final blow,” he said.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney was equally blunt.
“It’s not just about Encana,” Kenney said. “It’s about the broader decline of the Canadian energy industry, which I think is a deliberate policy of the Trudeau government.”

Canada is in serious trouble…as explained by Brett Wilson in simple enough terms. Our economy if not totally destroyed will guaranteed at least be weakened to the point where our nation suffers grievous harm. Perhaps irreversible grievous harm. And under the current government it is going to. Know this. The zero global impact of Canada’s 1.6% of the total global greenhouse gas emissions. Alberta oil sands accounting for 0.15 per cent yet politicians across the board have declared war on our economy. That means war on our health care funding. War on our military funding. War on our infrastructure funding. War on our ever burdening (exasperated thanks to open borders) social services. War has been declared on Canada, period. If politicians don’t represent Canada FIRST then they are in violation of their oath of office. And they could care less. Our own politicians have declared war on Canadians.
For perspective, consider that China’s and India’s emissions in 2018 would be equal to 150 Canadian oil sands. Where are the marching radical environmentalists protesting that fact? If the situation is so dire as then just where are the Trudeau’s of the world standing up in the UN, in our own HOC or anywhere/everywhere else pointing the accusatory finger demanding, yes demanding from China and India a fraction of what the demand of sparsely populated, very cold for months of the year little old inconsequential Canada? Two faced lying hypocritical self serving traitorous bastards I say.

All-Time Record-Cold Sweeps Alberta, Canada
Alberta has suffered YET MORE record-breaking low temperatures of late, as brutal Arctic air continues to descend anomalously-far south for the time of year.
The southwest of the Canadian province appears to have fared the worst this week.
According to data from Environment Canada, the mercury in Banff plunged to -23.3C (-9.9F) on Monday morning, which set a new daily low for October 29, eclipsing the previous mark of -22.6C (-8.7F) set back in 1991.
