Tories will be 'absolutely hammered' in EU vote - but Farage will 'clean up'
I think what the country’s looking at right now is a complete fudge going on in parliament that actually will not really see us leave the EU.

A BREXITEER has openly admitted the Tory-Labour cross-party talks are a “complete fudge” and that both parties will therefore be “absolutely hammered” in the upcoming European elections.

Speaking candidly to TalkRADIO on Monday morning, Labour Leave General Secretary Brendan Chilton conceded Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party was going to “clean up” when voters go to the polls on May 23. The shocking admission arose when radio host Alastair Stewart asked the Labour Brexiteer: “Do you go along with the Rory Stewart line from yesterday that we are moments away from cutting a deal between your own party and the Conservatives?” Mr Chilton said: “Well, I think the phrase he used was that we’re a heartbeat away.

“And I think that heart, like British democracy, is on life support at the moment.

“Because I think what the country’s looking at right now is a complete fudge going on in parliament that actually will not really see us leave the EU.

“Which is why I think in the coming EU elections the Brexit Party is going to clean up and both my party and the Conservative Party are going to be absolutely hammered.”

The news comes as Tory MPs are increasing pressure on Theresa May to set out a clear “road map” to her resignation as Prime Minister.
