SAJID Javid is the latest Tory leader contender to be eliminated from the contest in the fourth round picking up 34 votes.
Conservative MPs have voted to eliminate the Home Secretary from the Tory leadership race. All 313 Tory MPs voted and there were two spoiled ballot papers. Frontrunner Boris Johnson received 157 votes, Jeremy Hunt 59 votes, Michael Gove 91 and Sajid Javid 34.
Rory Stewart was whittled out of the contest after the third round of voting yesterday, June 19th.
He received 27 votes which have been spread among the remaining candidates today.
Betting firm StarSpreads have already declared Boris Johnson the next UK prime minister, paying out early on all bets on him to win the Tory leadership race.
The former foreign secretary had been backed by a landslide 87 percent of the market and had been an odds-on favourite throughout June.
